Today I wanted to write a small review on a product I purchased in March to wear on a day to day basis especially while at work. This product is the Nude By Nature Natural Mineral Cover in the shade Light/Medium Skin tones. I purchased this as well as a few other items from the Nude By Nature website.
The packaging states;
Nude by Nature has transformed the face of mineral cosmetics for good with out Award-Winning signature product. Natural Mineral Cover provides a flawless, airbrushed complexion without harmful Talc, Bismuth or Parabans. Even out your skin tone and build to a full coverage, while still allowing your skin to breathe, minimising the damage caused by the constant chemical clogging of other foundations. These winning formulations include Jojoba Esters and Kaolin Clay making Nude by Nature the best choice for any skin.
- 100% Natural & Naturally-Derived ingredients
- Talc, Paraben and Bismuth Free
- SPF 15
- Animal Cruelty Free
- Australian Owned
Directions:
For a light application, tap a small amount of the Natural Mineral Cover into the lid, swirl the brush, tap off the excess and build until yo reach your desired coverage.For a faster application, load the top of the brush and turn in upright (bristles to the ceiling) and tap so the powder falls down onto the brush. This will stop the spillage and give you a light, even application from just one brush. If you need a little more coverage, simply reapply and build to your perfect complexion n. For hard to hide blemishes you can use Mineral Cover as a concealer by applying with the tip of your finger or a concealer brush.
A friend of a friend wrote about her experience on Facebook about her purchase whereby all new customers can receive 40% off their total order using the discount code NEW40. I had been looking for a natural looking make-up option for work as I had gotten too lazy lately to put a whole face on and essentially was going to work bare faced which is not a good look. I put in an order and less than a week later the delivery man was handing me my package.
The Nude by Nature Natural Mineral Cover's RRP is $39.95, with my discount I managed to purchase it for $23.97. I balk at the idea of spending $40 on a single makeup item especially when it is 15g of product for $40, but I felt a whole lot better paying just over $20. Especially since I had never actually tried the mineral cover on my face. I did however prior to purchasing head into Priceline and test the shades whereby I decided that the shade Light/Medium Skin Tones was the right fit for me.
Alongside the Natural Mineral Cover, I purchased the Mineral Primer, Mineral Concealer and the Mineral Brush. With the Mineral Primer creating a solid base and the concealer doing its job, applying the Mineral Cover with the Mineral Brush is effortless and even stupid proof. It is just a matter of tapping product into the lid, swirling the brush in the product and swirling the product on the face.
It blends out effortlessly, looking natural but airbrushed. Adding more product builds the coverage of the product without it looking cakey or powdery. It blends into the skin and does not look like it is sitting on top like some powders do and does not cling to any textured skin. Overall I am very happy with this product, it has a slight pink tinge which naturally matches my complexion and adds that bit of flawlessness to my skin for a no effort make-up day.
This is a product that I have easily intertwined into my pre-work make-up routine and something that when I see on sale will stock up on.
Thanks for reading,
Danny xx
