Today I wanted to do a small review of the replica Too Faced The Power of Makeup palette I purchased from eBay.
I purchased this palette off of eBay for $13.22, a replica of the Too Faced Power of Makeup by Nikki Tutorials. The real palette was a limited edition palette that was released in 2016 for $80. Since I missed out on the palette I figured I would purchase a replica and play around with some of the colour's and see how good the quality is.
I am very impressed with the quality of the packaging, without seeing an original palette I cannot compare but some serious effort went into the making of this. While I am sure the colouring of the palette is slightly off (conclusions I have made from viewing reviews of real palettes) the fact that the text on the palette appear near on the same says how much effort was putting into making this knock off.
Personally the palette does not contain enough transition and base tones for me but it does have a range of colours that can be utilized to create varied eye shadow looks. The pigmentation is decent considering the palette is a replica, but the shadows do blend out nicely. There is some considerable fall out when dipping into the shadows which sits around the palette and can transfer onto the cheeks. The only part of the palette that is too intense would be the bronzer colour as it easily becomes quite muddy on the cheeks.
