Byphasse vs Bioderma Make up remover

Hey,

Today I wanted to write about the two different make up removers I currently have in my life at present. I have been using the Byphasse make-up remover solution for the last 6 -12 months and have found it to be really good value for money, but YouTube raves about the Bioderma make up removing micelle solution so I figured I would test it out.

Byphasse Make-up remover solution

Price: $4.99Amount: 500mlInstructions for use:Apply twice a day with a Byphasse cotton pad. Do not rinse.

Bioderma Make-up removing Micelle solution

Price: $24.99 (on-sale price) Full price $42.99

Amount: 500ml

Instructions for use:
Soak a cotton pad. Cleanse/remove make up from face and eyes. Dry gently.

Comparison:

I use both products the same way, by soaking a cotton pad with the formula and then rubbing my make up off. I then proceed through my normal nightly shower routine of exfoliating and cleansing then toning and moisturising. When using both products side by side there is a slight difference in terms of functionality, the Bioderma cuts through make up faster. There is also a difference in the feel of the skin after cleaning, Byphasse leaves the skin feeling slightly tacky when compared to the Bioderma which leaves the skin feeling more matte. There is a significant difference in price between the two products for the same amount of product, the Byphasse $20 less than the Bioderma. In terms of functionality I like using the Bioderma a little better than the Byphasse but in terms of price I find the Byphasse better value. Unless the Bioderma is on sale I will continue purchasing the Byphasse formula.

Thanks for reading,

Danny xx
