Hey,
Today I want to talk about the beauty items that stood out the most to me that I enjoyed using during the month of February. I spent majority of the month bare faced at work and every now and again having a make up day on my days off. Therefore majority of my favourites for last month are skin care related not make up related.
Lush Dark Angels fresh facial cleanser:
I have been using this product since roughly last October nightly and my skin always feels clean and exfoliated after using it. I cannot see myself changing from this product any time soon as it just cleans my skin so well and leaves it soft.
Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray:
This setting spray is my holy grail make up item. It keeps my makeup looking fresh and new all day, even after wearing it for 9 hours or more nothing has budged. I am angry with myself that it took me so long to join the bandwagon.
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara:
This mascara is better than sex, my lashes are phenominal when using this product. Not only does this formula blacken and volumise my own lashes it also lengthens them to twice if not more of their size. My only issue is that the formula can transfer and flake after it is worn for more than 8 or so hours.
Chi Chi Brow Pomade in Dark Brown:
Since purchasing this product way back when I have been using this daily. It is all I use on my brows and it is so versatile. Looks anywhere between natural and over drawn are made simple with this formula. This month I have been pairing this product with my Better than Sex Mascara for work and leaving it at that.
Lush Cosmetic Warrior Fresh Face Mask:
This is a mask that I wasn't too sure of purchasing at the time. Turns out, that out of the two that I purchased this is my favourite. It is soothing and gentle on my skin without irritating. It also doesn't flake off as much once it dries on my skin, so less mess.
pHishex Antibacterial face Wash:
This is the product I use to keep full face break outs under control. I have accepted the fact that my skin will never be 100% clear and lovely, but a relatively clear face can be achieved. This helps combat pimples and break outs and it is something I use religiously after exfoliating nightly.
Egyptian Magic All Purpose skin cream:
Priceline was having a 40% off sale and I needed a new moisturiser. Being that I am trying to simplify and go more natural with my products I figured this would be good night cream to replenish my skin. I find it to be very oily, obviously since it is mostly olive oil and honey. This however has not made my skin more oily or break out more.
BHCosmetics Brush cleaner:
I purchased this device off of the BHCosmetic website a few months back. This is the handiest tool when needing to clean brushes in between washes as it takes the shadows off the brush and lets me reuse the brush straight after.
Mario Badescu Facial Spray:
I use this product as a toner after cleansing and am currently on my second bottle. This is a product I enjoy using as it is mostly natural and tones without irritating my skin.
Mario Badescu Drying Lotion:
This is one of my secret weapons that I use at night before bed to combat pimples and break outs. I dab some onto problem areas using a cotton bud and by the next morning there is a significant improvement. Over a couple of days what would normally be a crater on my face has normally gone.
What were your favourite beauty items of February?
Thanks for reading,
Danny xx
