Catastrophe Cosmetic

Hey,

Today I wanted to write about a mask that I purchased from Lush and finally go the chance to try out last night. I was planning on purchasing this mask the week before but by the time I went back into Lush it was completely sold out, so I went home and pouted a lot.

I finally purchased the mask on Saturday and then Sunday night after work and a Kmart trip applied it to my face. Since purchasing I have kept it in the fridge, not only to keep the ingredients from going funky but to also have that added cooling feeling when applying to my skin.

When I opened the mask up I had to mix together the solid ingredients with some of the liquid ingredients that had separated which was quick and easy. What was left on my finger after mixing I applied to my face. It was cold and soothing straight away but also felt quite thick. The thickness of the mask no way impinged on the spread ability, it just went on over my face thicker than other masks I have tried. The mask was very blue - because of the blueberries.

I proceeded to leave the mask on for roughly 15 minutes, at about the 10 to 15 minute mark the mask began drying down and became quite flaking. Moving my face and making faces caused the mask to flake off a lot faster towards the 15 minute mark. I then proceeded to shower it off and went on with my usual nightly skin care routine.

I quite enjoyed using this mask and because the tub I purchased is 60 grams I will get quite a few more uses out of this product. If you enjoy pampering your face this is something I would recommend people trying.
