Today I wanted to explore both the palette I have used for the last week as well as introduce the palette I will be using for the next week. Last weeks palette was the Makeup Geek x Manny MUA eye shadow palette, which I have used for just about every day in the last week.
I have loved this palette the whole time have owned it. Having never used any Makeup Geek shadows before I wasn't sure what to expect but was floored the first time I touched it. The shadows are highly pigmented as well as creamy and blend-able. The palette has a variety of different colours that are mostly warm toned and natural with a few glittery shadows for that touch of daring expression.
There are a couple of shades in this palette that I really love using. The first is a warm medium terracotta tone with a demi-matte finish that I use in my crease for just about every eye look I create. This shade is the center shadow called Sora.
The other shadow that I really love using is a red tone with green reflects that has a foiled finish, called Insomnia. This shadow is perfect for a very dramatic eye shadow look. Every time I use the shadow, friends and family refer to it as my mermaid look.
The fifth palette that I have chosen for the week ahead is the Morphe x Kathleen Lights eye shadow palette. I am really looking forward to using this palette for the next week as it has some wonderful shades in it that I will be able to use to create a whole lot of different eye looks.
