Hey,
Today I wanted to post about the beauty products that I enjoyed using the most during the month of April.
Stila HUGE Extreme Lash Mascara
I purchased this mascara while in Adelaide as a replacement for my Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. This mascara both volumises and lengthens my lashes without any clumpiness or fallout.
MUD Beauty Sponge
I purchased this beauty sponge from Woolworths in Goowla, South Australia. This sponge is both soft and flexible which is a great combination for a really good make-up application. I really love using this sponge, my only issue is I cannot find it in stores anywhere.
Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer
I purchased this concealer on a whim and am glad that I did. This concealer is light in colour and spreads quite easily which makes for a concealed but highlighted under eye area. The tube contains an applicator of the doe foot variety which makes getting under the eye area extra convenient.
Dark Dark Circle Concealer
I purchased this at one of Pricelines cosmetic sales while I was in South Australia. This product is a very light orange tone that conceals discolouration in my under eye area and creates a solid base for a lighter concealer to be applied over the top.
MAC Painterly Pro Longwear Paint Pot
This product was a treat myself moment in Adelaide. I have a few friends who use the MAC paint pots and rave about them, so I figured I would give them a go. I love how well the colour Painterly matches my skin tone, it is the perfect fit. The formula is creamy and easy to blend out and provides an amazingly long lasting and colour corrected base for any eye shadow look I wish to create.
Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation
I purchased this foundation at a cosmetic sale at Priceline in South Australia after a lot of umming and ahhing. I choose the colour Ivory because I honestly couldn't remember what colour I had matched myself to previously. It is quite a light foundation but coming into winter it works really well. My only issue with the foundation is that it separates on my nose after an hour or so of wear - but I think this is a skin care issue. The foundation spreads incredibly far and feels ridiculously light weight.
Modelsprefer Mineral Powder in Soft Focus
I purchased this pressed powder at the cosmetic sale at Priceline in South Australia on a whim and am so glad that I did. The powder is like a low end version of an Hourglass mineral finish that leaves the skin looking subtly glowy and poreless.
Triple Baked Bronzer in Summer of Love
This is a bronzer I purchased from Make Up Revolution a long while ago and has since been sitting in my drawer. During April I pulled it out and gave it a go and am surprised at how much of a perfect colour it is as a bronzer for my skin tone. I have been using this every chance I get and just love it.
Thanks for reading,
Danny xx
