April Empties!

Hey,

Today I wanted to go through the various beauty products I finished using within the month of April. Below I have posted a photo of all the items as well as small descriptions about each.

Coles Talc Powder
An essential that I will continuously repurchase. Use it to keep areas of the body, dry and not sticky. 

Schwarzkopf Leave in Treatment
This product is a cult favourite in my family, everybody uses it. It works, keeps hair healthy and shiny when using it. I use it combined with the Garnier Anti-Frizz Serum. This is something I don't need to repurchase yet as I have a few spares in the cupboard.

Femfresh Daily Intimate Wash
I started using this product a few months ago and I am now a convert. It is amazing how clean and fresh certain areas of the body can feel. I also get a more balanced feeling with less irritation and obvious imbalances. I will continue to keep using and repurchasing.

Target Face Wipes
My Aunty purchased these while we were out shopping one day to clean up my baby cousins faces after they have eaten chocolate. After using one or two she gave them to me to use as a face wipe. They are okay wipes that did there job of removing any excess makeup and oils from my skin after cleansing. I will not be repurchasing these wipes even though they are quite cheap.

Garnier Anti-Frizz Serum
This product smells great when applied to the hair and has a anti-fizz element to it which is why I use it in conjunction with the Schwarzkopf Leave in Treatment. I am not so sure that I will be repurchasing though.


Viviscal Densifying Shampoo
I received this shampoo as a part of a hair care gift bag earlier in the year and am so glad I was able to use it. It definitely made my hair feel thicker and fuller after each time I used it. This is definitely a shampoo that I will consider repurchasing in the future.

Advanced Whitening Toothpaste
I had this toothpaste purchased as I felt like the other toothpastes I was using was not cleaning my teeth properly. This will be a toothpaste I will repurchase. 

Body Shop Bath Lilly
I've always loved using a fluffy poof in the shower. Years ago I tried a Body Shop bath lilly and it was lush and lasted a lot longer than a lot of the cheap ones I was purchasing from $2 shops. Now that I am earning enough money that I am not stressing every second about money I have decided to start using the body shop ones again. 

Catastrophe Cosmetic
This was the one face mask from Lush that I desperately wanted to try out. Unfortunately it wasn't my favourite of the two masks I purchased. This mask was very flakey once even remotely close to dry on any part of the skin and would make a mess before I was able to wash it off.

Cosmetic Warrior
This was a last minute decision buy and I am so glad that I did purchase it. It was soothing and left my skin feeling less gross and nasty after wearing make up for too many days in a row. This is a mask that I will be repurchasing in the future.

Tea Tree Facial Wipes x 2
I purchased these face wipes while I was in Warnabool on holidays with my family. Figured tea tree oil was good for my skin so I guessed that having wipes soaked in the stuff would be beneficial. I did not enjoy using these face wipes at all, if they got too close to my eyes then I would have stinging and irritated eyes for hours afterwards. Considering I use the wipes after showering to clean up any excess make up and or cleanser these are not suited to my purpose. I will not be repurchasing.

Makeup Remover Pads
I only purchased these pads because I was unable to get to a Daiso to buy the 2 pack of 180 wipes. These are functional and work when in a pinch. I will probably eventually repurchase but not while I have access to a Daiso.

Pantene 3 Minute Miracle Conditioner
This is the second container of this conditioner that I have used. I really enjoy mixing this conditioner with my normal conditioner for a deeper conditioning experience. This leaves my hair soft and easy to manage. 

Mamia Fragrance Free Baby Wipes
These are Aldi brand baby wipes and thus far my favourite for removing any left over residue on my skin after cleansing my skin. They do not irritate my skin or sting my eyes. I will be going back to using just these.

Hair Brush
This was the brush I was using to comb out my hair once I had conditioner in it in the show. I have now got a simple detangling brush in there so have no more use for this brush.

MAC Primer Sample
I was not overly impressed with this primer, but I believe it was probably because the sample was pretty small. I will probably get a few more samples and see how it goes.

Schik Intuition Razor Head
These are moisturizing razor heads and my favourite product to use when shaving. My body is left feeling smooth and moisturised, not cut up and dry. I will be repurchasing more of these until I have had all my body hair lazered off.

Protane Coconut Water
I purchased this thinking it would be useful to add a bit of conditioning hydration to my hair. I enjoyed using it but it honestly just added another step to my hair care routine which just ends up complicating something which I am trying to simplify. I will not be repurchasing.

Monarch Conditioning Shampoo
I too these from the motel we stayed in while in Warnabool, do a great job of cleaning my make up brushes. 

Razor
These are cheap mens razors from Aldi. They are functional and work to remove any unwanted hair without irritation. The do however rust quite quickly so they are normally are only good for one use.

Eyelene Lashstudio Lash Adhesive
This glue was not bad considering it was purchased from Kmart. I will in future be looking for something with an easier applicator.

Kiehl's Calendula Herbal-Extract Toner Sample x2
This toner has no alcohol in it which is what attracted me to it. The two samples I used were quite soothing and something I thought my skin needed. I have since purchased a full sized version.

Kiehl's Blue Astringent Herbal Lotion Sample x2
This toner has alcohol in it and is a much stronger formula than the Calendula Herbal-Extract Toner. This toner is more suitable for use when there are problem areas that need treating. This is something that when the toner is in stock that I will be looking to purchase.

Smashbox Hydrating Primer Sample
I really enjoyed using this primer sample. The primer both soothes and has a cooling effect on the skin. It also spreads easily, not clinging to any dry patches and a small amount goes a long way. This is a product I will be considering purchasing.

Kiehl's Creamy eye treatment
This formula is very hydrating for the eye area. The formula also goes quite a long way, and has a thick creamy texture. This is something I am looking into purchasing.


Daiso Cotton Puff
These are the best value for money. I use these puffs to remove make up as well as apply toner. I will be repurchasing. 

Bioderma Make- up removing solution
This is a really great make-up removing solution and I enjoyed using it. I will not however be repurchasing as for the price I paid I can get a very similar product for roughly a fifth of the price that I paid.
