December Favourites!

Hey,

Today I wanted to go through all the beauty related items that have been my favourites in the month of December. This month has been crazy, I have purchased and tried out so many different beauty items, as well as received so many beauty items for Christmas that I have experimented with and or am going to experiment with. However in the month of December, a few new products stood out while a couple are cult favourites.

  • Too Faced Chocolate Bar

I purchased this from Mecca and don't know why I put off purchasing it for so long. It is a great palette with natural colours as well as a couple of odd colours thrown in that have fantastic colour payoff. The pigmentation of the shadows is incredible  and they are so buttery that the blend ability is effortless.

  • Mac Pro Long Wear Foundation in NW20

Up until a month ago I have never used any MAC product, recently I have converted. There foundations are amazing and make my skin look absolutley flawless. After trying a sample for a week I went out and instantly purchased the foundation, then the concealer, then MAC fix plus.

  • Chi Chi Beauty Sponge in Yellow

This is my all time favourite beauty sponge, so it is no wonder that it is in my December beauty favourites. The sponge is soft and the perfect shape to blend foundation in flawlessly. I use the flat end or blend in foundation and the pointed end for under the eye concealer.

  • Mario Badescu Drying Lotion

This product is amazing, an absolute miracle worker for people with blemish prone skin. When this is applied to a blemish and left overnight, the healing process is sped up and nine times out of ten I wake to either a scab or clear skin rather then a puss filled pimple.

  • Mario Badesecu Facial Spray

I am a massive fan of using rose water on the skin as a toner after cleansing, so I decided to try out Mario Badescu's formula and I have not been dissapointed. The formula comes in a convenient spray bottle and has beme a convenient part of my beauty routine.

  • e.l.f Complexion Brush

If love was a brush it would be the e.l.f complexon brush. I am now the proud owner of two of these brushes and apart from my eyeshadow brushes these are all I have used in the last month. They are the perfect size to set foundation as well as bronze the skin.

  • Chi Chi Brow Pomade in Dark brown

This product changed my eyebrow game last year. It is a permanent part of my make up routine and I find the formula easy to use and that a little goes a long way. Each day my application technique becomes better.

  • Lush Dark Angels Exfoliator

This has become a new love within my beauty routine. I love products that have charcoal included in them as it works well with my blemish prone skin. The formula is gritty enough to exfoliate without leaving the skin feeling raw and nasty. I ran out in December and have since repurchased and am using y second jar.

  • Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara

I previously used this mascara and was not overly fond of it. Since receiving it for Christmas in my Christmas in New York pack I have been hooked. It lengthens and adds volume my lashes opening up my eyes. At this stage I will be purchasing a full size mascara when I finish the sample I have.

What were your favourite products in December?

Thanks for reading,

Danny xx
