December empties!

Hey,

Today I wanted to go through the different items that I have finished using in the month of December. I used up quite a few products this month, a few of which I have repurhased and others which were not. Enjoy!

Kmart Large Make up Remover Pads

These makeup remover pads were great as only 1-2 were needed to remove an entire face of makeup when soaked in my Byphasse makeup remover solution. I would however have preferred a larger pack, perhaps a pack of 100 would be more convenient. I will consider repurchasing in the future.

Colgate Triple Action Toothpaste

Toothpaste is something that my house uses by the bucket load. Using Colgate after spending so much time using the Aldi brand was a bit of a refresher. Will consider repurchasing.

Byphasse Make up remover solution

This is a staple product in my skin care regime. This is all I use to remove my make up each night, it works and is cheap therefore it is around to stay.

Aldi Shampoo

This shampoo was was quite average and is not a product I will be purchasing in the future. It left my hair quite flat and not feeling as clean as it could have. I will not be repurchasing in a hurry.

Palmolive Conditioner

When I first use this conditioner I fell in love with it as it left my hair smelling amazing and feeling silky. However since repurchasing I have not been as impressed and will not be repurchasing in the future.

Arbonne hydrating Eye Creme

This was a really hydrating eye cream that I enjoyed using. The product lasted me months, so much longer than other products. So it was well worth the price tag. A little went a long way with this product and I will definitely be in future be repurchasing.

Qv Nurturing Night Cream

I purchased this night cream after finishing off the Arbonne night cream I was using, in the hopes of finding something that would be hydrating without leaving my skin feeling greezy. I have found that this moisturiser leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated and have since repurchased.

Daiso Aloe Moisture Lotion

I purchased this lotion from Daiso at Westfield and used it as a toner for my skin after cleansing. I don't really feel that this did a whole lot to improve or tone my skin and will not be repurchasing as I have found a better alternative.

Mamia Fragrance Free Baby Wipes

This is a staple in my beauty routine and has been for years. I will continue to repurchase as they do not irritate or annoy my skin but wipe away any excess product after showering and cleansing.

W7 Skin Fresh Foundation

The first bottle of this I used I was quite impressed, I feel like this bottle applied more cakey and less natural to my skin. This does not detract from the quality of the foundation as I think my skin is changing because a lot of items I have used wit success in the past are not working now. I will not be repurchasing this foundation in the near future.

Nivea Stress Protect Anti-Antiperspirant Deodorant

I have been using Nivea deodorants for many years and never had any issue with the way the formula works with my skin. However lately I have found that even the stress protect version is not working so I have recently added a Rexona clinical deodorant to my regime. I use the Rexona clinical deodorant at night after showering and have been using the Nivea stress protect in the morning. This has reduced both sweating and any smell.

Lush Dark Angels Fresh Facial Cleanser

I used this cleanser a while back but was not as impressed, since repurchasing I have found a whole new appreciation for it. It is a gritty cleanser that exfoliates the skin and has charcoal in it which naturally helps my blemish prone skin. I have since repurchased and will continue to use this product.

Five Pack of Falsies

These are both my mother and my own favourite falsies, they are long but wispy looking natural on the eyes. I purchase these off of eBay, 5 sets for $1 which I believe is pretty good value. I will in future repurchase.

 Ulta3 Primer Ready to glow

I really enjoyed using this primer, it applied smoothly and added an element of glow to my skin. I am currently using up the rest of an Arbonne primer I have and then will be transitioning to a Rimmel primer which is one of my all time favourites. I will in future consider repurchasing but will not at present.

 Replica Real Techniques Sponge

I purchased this sponge on eBay and was quite impressed with its quality. It lasted a few months with out splitting, the orange dye did not run when I washed it and it applied foundation and concealer flawlessly. While I am now back to using my Chi Chi sponges I will in future consider repurchasing.

MAC Prolong wear concealer sample in NW20

This was the first sample I received from MAC at Myer after they colour matched me. Coincidentally I am the same shade of concealer as I am foundation, this is because the lighter shades only enhanced the bags under my eyes where as the darker covered them.

Toni & Guy Shine Gloss Serum

This small pump bottle has a huge quantity of product, by that I mean it lasts a long time because one pump goes a long way. The formula when added to the hair adds a touch of shine to hair that was previously flat.

Mac Sample of Pro Long wear foundation in NW20

This was a sample I received from MAC at Myer after they colour matched me. I have fallen in love with MAC's foundation, I don't know what is in them but they just gel well with my face.

What products did you use up in December of 2016?

Thanks for reading,
Danny xx
