Review - Arbonne FC5 Purifying Cleanser + Toner

Hey,

Today I wanted to review - Arbonne FC5 Purifying Cleanser + Toner. Which came as a set, which is pictured on the left. The set from the FC5 line included the Purifying Cleanser + Toner, Mattifying Powder and Oil-Absorbing Day Lotion with SPF 15.

According to the Arbonne catalogue the Purifying Cleanser + Toner is for Oily/Combination skin and contains 118 ml for $43.00 for non-members. I luckily Payed $106 for the moisturiser, powder and cleanser.

The write up on the product states:
'Doing double duty, our two-in-one lightweight formula cleanses and tones, visibly reducing oiliness for refreshed-looking skin'.

Key ingredients:
Fresh strawberry cells, Matter Fresh Complex, witch hazel.
Directions:
Apply a small amount to moist skin and massage gently in circular motions. Rinse with warm water. Avoid contact with eyes.

I used this product twice a day.

The formula itself is a non-irritating near translucent gel like consistency. When applied as the direction specify - to moist skin the formula lightly foams. The cleanser has a fruity scent, which is to be expected as the key ingredient is Fresh Strawberry cells. I have quite sensitive skin and I found it did not cause any extra break outs than what I would normally have occur.

I feel like it didn't work towards clearing up my skin either, because this product is mainly for those with combination to oily skin, and is for oil control which was apparently too much for my normally dry skin. Therefore my skin wasn't at its best while using it. My mistake though as I ordered the wrong skin set. Since finishing the product I have started using the Hydrating creme cleanser from the FC5 line and have noticed a positive difference in my skin.

Have you tried any of the Arbonne Cleansers? What did you think?

What do you normally use to cleanse your skin?

Thank you for reading,

Danny xx
