Today I wanted to go through the beauty items I have been loving in the month of November. It surprising me each month what I continue to use and becomes a cult favourite and what I start using that becomes a flavour of the month. Below I have a photo of all the items plus a little speil about each. Enjoy!
Manny Mua x Makeup Geek eyeshadow Collaboration
I purchased this palette off of BeautyBay and it arrived earlier in the month. Since then, every day I get off of work I use this palette to do my eye look. My favourite colour in the palette is the one titled Insomnia which is a purple green mix, which I apply to my lid. I love the fact that the colours are warm toned and suit both my eye colour and complexion.
Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloem herbs and rosewater
I purchased this on the 24th of October and have been using it twice daily since. After cleansing my face and toning I spray this facial spray all over my neck and face before applying my moisturisers. I really enjoy this product and will continue to repurchase once I finish this bottle.
Body Shop Shade Adjusting Drops in Lightening
I purchased the Body Shop shade adjusting drops in lightening on the 13th of October and have since been using them almost daily to adjust my foundations. I find it especially hard to find just the right shade of foundation, these drops lighten foundation either a smal amount or a lot depending on how much you mix in. It also does not change the coverage of the foundation which is a bonus.
Chi Chi Brow Pomade in Dark Brown
I purchased this quite a while ago and it has been in my favourites each month for a few months. This is the product that revolutionalised my brow routine. Previously I either did nothing to my brows or ran a Maybelline brow drama through them. Photos of girls off of Instagram and Fcebook with ridiculousy filled in brows scared me. Then I started using the Chi Chi formula which is so smooth and easy to use and have since been hooked. I use it every day and it really does finish my eyebrow look.
Morphe brush R37 + Morphe brush R38
I purchased both of these brushes from Makupnet in Puckle Street in Moonee Ponds in September from memory. Since then I have alternatively been using both since to set my eyeshadow primer and blend the base colours into my eye. These two brushes have become an essential part of my makeup routine hence being included in my November favourites.
Elf complexion brush
This is my favourite brush out of all the brushes I own. This is the perfect brush for applying bronzer and blending out a contour line. I use this brush every day and literally dont know what to do with myself if I have washed it and it is still wet the next day when I go to apply bronzer. This has been and will continue to be a favourite of the month for a while.
Elf Golden bronzer in Golden
Once I purchased this bronzer I became obsessed with it. The reason for this is because I am so pale bronzers go orange on my cheeks. This bronzer however is the perfect combination because it is light and adds warmth without going a nasty orange colour. I hit pan a while ago and then started using a Ulta3 bronzer but have since started using it and love my cheeks again.
Chi Chi Large Stippling Brush
Like my obsession with other beauty products, this brush is something that I absolutely love using but will put down for a couple of weeks and then pick it up again and love it all over again. I started using this as a brush to blend out my blush and bronzer but have lately been using it to apply my essence mattifying powder and setting my under eye area. This brush applys powder in a way that sets the foundation or blush below but doesn't pack it so that it becomes cakey.
Freedom Proffessional Makeup Fixing Spray
I recieved this setting spray with my Tam Beauty order and have been using it daily since. This product sets my foundation and enhances the longeviety of the makeup on my face. It also leaves my makeup looking fresh and smooth. I be repurchasing this once I run out of this one.
What were your favourites in the month of November?
Thanks for reading,
Danny xx
