Hey,
Today I want to review the W7 Skin Fresh Foundation I finished off in early August and started using again in October. I have to admit right now, so far I have not found a foundation made by W7 that I haven't liked.
Compared to the Photoshoot formula this particular foundation has a thicker consistency. This translates to a buildable medium to full coverage foundation without the cakey effect. Although it is quite thick it does blend out easily on the skin. This is a great foundationfor covering blemishes and sun spots because of its medium to full coverage formula. The only negative is that the product comes in a pump bottle, where the thickness of the formula causing it to clog quite often. However the formula itself is quite long lasting on the skin with little transference.
The shade I purchased is Nude Beige which is a little dark for my skin tone during winter, a little more suited to a summer foundation colour. I just fix this by adding a couple of drops of shade adjusting drops.

Review - LOVE Shimmers from Kmart!
Hey,Today I wanted to review the Love Shimmers I bought from Kmart. There are two shades, a gold and brown and a pink and white.Gold/ Brown ShimmerThis duo when swirled together creates a bronze gold effect on the cheek. It is also admittedly my Mums favourite highlighter - she is already onto her second one after a couple of weeks(she bought multiple after she worked out she loved it). This is a decent effort as it is a baked highlighter. I addmitedly havent used it much but when I have it has created a lovely glow on my upper cheeks.
Pink/ Silver Shimmer
This duo when swirled together creates a white frost effect on the cheek. It is also admittedly my favourite of the two shades.
If your'e on a budget or too poor to purchase Jeffree Star ( I was there, not too long ago) these two highlighters are great value for money. I would definately recommend the gold highlighter for tan to darker skinned ladies and the white for the pasty white ladies.

Review - 10 Shade Blush Palette
Hey,
Today I wanted to review another of my eBay purchases, the 10 shade blush palette. I found it at its cheapest at $6.17 on eBay and it is well worth the money. Apart from a slight chemical smell which is practically un-noticable unless you press your nose into the palette, it is great value.
Pro's of the blush palette:
Photo of the palette:
Swatches of the Blushes:
Top row: colours are in order from bottom (purple) to top (dark pink)
Thank you for reading my review on the 10 Shade Blush Palette,

JEFFREE STAR! Lip Ammunition in Celebrity Skin
Hey,
Today I wanted to to a review on the Jeffree Star Lip Ammunition in the shade Celebrity skin that I purchased from the Jeffree Star Cosmetics website. I purchased this lipstick alongside two skin frosts in Ice Cold and Peach Goddess. I was only able to use this lipstick for the first time approximately two weeks after it arrived on my doorstep. The sad reason for this is I had been quite run down and had a monster of a cold sore on my lip, so rather than contaminating the lipstick I waited to use it.
I used it for the first time to wear to a friends get together for her birthday and was thus very impressed with my purchase. The pakaging is cute and quite bold, being in a classic Jeffree Star Pink shade in the shape of a bullet. This singles the lipstick out amongst other brands. Straight away when applying to the lips the pigmentation is outstanding, the colour is solid and one swipe across the lips is all that is needed. The formula is quite long wearing but does have normal lipstick qualities such as transference and wipes of with oily food. This however does not detract from the rich colour and moisturising effect the lipstick has on the lips. Celebrity skin itself is a nude shade that steers towards a grey purple shade which is a tone that I particularly enjoy in a lipstick.
I really do love all of my Jeffree Star products and will continue to purchase and enjoy what he puts out to the beauty industry.

Honey + Tea Tree Oil
Hey,
Today I wanted to talk about what I have been using to wash my face morning and night. It started when I ran out of the foam tea tree oil cleanser I had previously been using and was looking through Pinterest at the diy beauty section. I came across a post about using a mixture of tea tree oil and honey as a natural cleanser. The tea tree oil for its obvious antibacterial properties which is great for acne and blemishes and the honey for its moisturising properties, which I cannot get enough of with my normal to dry skin.
I started off by pouring some honey from the pantry into a little jar I had sitting about and approximately a cap of tea tree oil and mixing it together. I used this little concotion for about a week and noticed no break outs or extra oiliness or anything negative occuring with my skin. With this cheap alternative seemingly working I went to Woolworths and purchased myself a bigger jar of honey and proceeded to make the concotion into my little jar and store it in my shower.
In the past week I have noticed some hormonal break outs on my chin and neck but they are no where near as large as they normally are come this particular time of the month. Plus the texture of my skin is smoother with less small blemishes felt on the surface.
So far the diy mix is economical, antibacterial and moisturiserising and causing no adverse side effects. I will be continuing to use the mix till the jar of honey I purchased has been used in its entirety.
Thanks,
Danny xx

Small Posting Break
Hey,
Today I wanted to chat about the reasons I have been a little absent from posting for the last week or so, my last post being the 12th of November. Previous to September I had been doing some Volunteer work while job searching and completing my Masters of Education Studies. As of September I found a part time job of approximately 30 hours a week and then in November picked up a second job of roughly 5 hours a week.
I have been quite busy between the two of these jobs. They are scattered so I only get Tuesday and Saturdays off. I have been spending Tuesdays with my Aunty and baby cousins and Saturdays with my parents and grandparents. This saying I have been continuously been doing extravagant eye looks and attempting to use all of my different make up that has arrived in the last couple of weeks.
As of the 22nd of November I will continue with my posting every two days... never fear I am never gone for long.
Thanks,
Danny xx

Review - Simple Rich Moisturiser
Hey,
Today I wanted to review the Simple Kind to Skin replenishing Rich Moisturiser that I have recently added to my daily skin care routine in the last month or so. After using this moisturiser for a month or so as a day time moisturiser after cleansing I have been quite impressed with it considering it is a cheap drug store alternate. I had previously been using a Arbonne daily moisturiser which had an expensive price tag. I have not had any irritation or sensitivity to the formula nor have I seen it cause any extra oiliness or feed any acne. There is also quite a lot of product in the container, with a simple easy to squeese out container. These are all positives that work in the favour of me repurchasing when I finish the product.
The packaging states:
Simple goodness...
2 VITAMINS Pro-Vitamin B5
Vitamin E
3 SKIN LOVING INGREDIENTS
Glycerin
Bisabolol
Allantoin
0 NO ARTIFICIAL PERFUE OR COLOUR AND NO HARSH CHEMICALS
So it wont upset your skin
Dermatologically Tested and Approved
Simple Ingredients.. Impressive results
for best results...
Smooth gently into your face and neck using upward and outward movements. Use with our Kind To Skin Moisturising Facial Wash.
Our philosophy is Simple...
Simple Says
never use artifical perfume,
colour or harsh chemicals
that can upset your skin
Simple says
settle for only our purest
possible skin-loving
ingredients
Simple says
trust the essential goodness
in all our products... on
even sensitive skin
Simple says
natural beauty comes from
goodness
We believe in
goodness
This moisturiser absorbs easily and quickly into the skin without leaving the skin oily or shiny. The formula itself is a liquid consistency and white in colour with a subtle but pleasant smell. A little of the formula goes a long way so this means the product will last me quite a while.

Review - W7 GLOWCOMOTION
Hey,
Today I wanted to review my W7 Glocomotion, the W7 version of one of the manizer sister highlighters. It is a very cheap in price highlighter that is available from Chemist Warehouses and Beauty Spot for $4.99. It is gold in colour and applies to the face quite intensely considering the price tag.
Below I have pictures of the product as well as a swatch on my hand. The intense golden glow that is created when applying to the face is not apparent through the swatch. It is quite an impressive highlighter, if your'e on a budget this is certainly a good highlighter to purchase.

October Facebook Buy Swap and Sell
Hey,
This month was a very slow month Facebook Buy Swap and Sell wise. I only made one purchase as the second purchase I was going to make never eventuated.
I purchased this foundation that I could only otherwise get a hold of if shipped from America from a lady in Yarraville. Unfortunately even though it is in the lighter range of shades it is still too dark for my skin tone, as well as being very yellow toned. I have solved this issue by mixing in a few drops of the Body Shop shade adjusting drops.

October Purchases!
Hey,
Today I wanted to go through all of the purchases I made during the month of October. As well as update about purchases from September that arrived during the beginning of the month. This month has definitely been a slow month compared to September.
On the 10th of September I made my second BeautyBay order. I ordered myself the Kathleen Lights and Make up Geek highlighter palette collaboration as well as a Gerard Cosmetics Liquid Lipstick. These arrived on October 3rd which was probably the longest wait for any of the higher end orders I made during the month of September.
Kathleen Lights Highlighter Palette $69.50
Gerard Cosmetics Hydra Matte Liquid Lipstick in Everything Nice $18.20
On the 22nd of September I made a Colourpop order, during there free international shipping special. I ordered a few different items including three of my favourite lippie stix in the shade Tootsi. This order arrived on the 6th of October., which is why I couldn't completely include it in last months purchases.
Tootsi x 3 $15.00 USD
Tootsi Liner x 1 $5.00 USD
Point zero x 1 $6.00 USD
Pillow Talk x 1 $5.00 USD
Where the Light is, Kathleen Lights Collaboration x 1 $18.00 USD
Swerve x1 $6.00 USD
Overall $55.00 USD = $74.55 AUD
The Body Shop:
Shade Adjusting Drops Lightening $29.95
I have a bad habit of buying foundations that are too dark for my pasty white complexion and I had heard good things about the body shop shade adjusting drops. Therefore I decided on purchasing the lightening drops.
Chemist Warehouse:
Byphasse Makeup remover solution $3.99
Qv Nurturing Night Cream $14.69
I am almost out of my make up remover so figured I would pick up another bottle while it is cheap, plus QV was on sale and I needed a new night cream. I figured since I use the body wash the night cream would be great for my skin.
The Reject Shop:
Simple Baby Moisturising Shampoo $3.00
Everybody raves about baby shampoo for washing cosmetic brushes so I figured I would try one out. I use a simple moisturiser and find it is amazing so I figured the brand can't be half bad.
Kmart:
e.l.f Complexion Brush $8.00
I already own this brush, out of my entire collection this is my favourite. I use it to apply my bronzer over my contour line on my cheeks, it blends and buffs the colour in perfectly. My only issue is when its wet after I wash it so I figured I should have a second brush for these occasions.
Coles:
Rimmel Scandaleyes $12.75
A close friend who I work with used this mascara one day and her lashes were ridiculous. So since then I have been looking to purchase this mascara but wanted it to be on sale. I finally found it for a couple of dollars off the original price and Mum offered to buy it for me, so who was I to say no.
I am a little obsessed lately with shade adjusting drops, because even my favourite foundation isn't quite the right shade. I stumbled across the new range on the Australis website and I managed to get a discount code for 25% off as well as received free shipping as I spent over $50.
BBH Blush, Bronze and Highlight Palette$16.95
Stobe Lights Illuminating Powders $14.95
Match Maker Shade Adjusting Drops in Lightening $19.95
Match Maker Shade Adjusting Drops in Darkening $19.95
I paid $53.85
Chi Chi Sponge
I purchased a couple of items through the Myer Click and Collect and when I went to pick up the items I saw that Chi Chi was on sale and wanted to pick up another sponge.
Skin Frost King Tut $29 USD
Skin Frost Onyx Ice $29 USD
The Body Shop bath sponge $4.95
While doing some Christmas shopping with my friend, we popped into The Body Shop to buy her mum some soap. Since I have been using some cheap bath sponges from $2 shops that don't last very long, I wanted to buy a decent sponge.
Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater $9.00
I stopped in at Mecca at the plaza to purchase one of the Too Faced highlighters and decided to buy myself the Mario Badescu Facial Spray.
I was paid from work and decided what the hell, lets make a $170 order from Tam Beauty. I ordered a total of 21 items, one of which is for my Mum for Christmas. Hopefully the order arrives in November.
During the Ice Cold restock on October 15th I decided to make a Jeffree Star order which included two skin frosts and one of his new lip ammunition lipstick. These highlighters and lipstick arrived on the 28th of October which was quite quick for international shipping.
Skin Frost in Peach Goddess $29 USD
Skin Frost in Ice Cold $29USD
Lip ammunition in Celebrity skin $18 USD
My family and I spent the Monday and Tuesday of the Melbourne Cup weekend in Bright. On our way there we stopped at a chemist in Myrtleford where I knew they sold the Ulta3 brand, so I decided to grab a couple of Ulta3 and Essence brand products.
Ulta3 Big Bronzer $9.95
Ulta3 Ready to Glow Primer $8.95
Essence Kajal pencil in black $2.00
Essence Lights of Orient Bronzer in 01 Sunkissed Beauty $6.10
Essence the Velvets eyeshadow in 03 Smooth Caramel $4.10
Essence the Velvets eyeshadow in 05 Taupe Secret $4.10
Essence Lipstick in 03 Come Naturally $4.70
