Wayne Goss advice

Hey,

So I wanted to talk about a make-up tip video by one of my recent YouTube crushes.

Wayne Goss, obviously famous for his make-up brushes came up with a tip that when I tried it out the following day when applying my make-up, worked. I ended up with make u that gave me a glowing more natural appearance, previously I had noticed my make up had started looking quite caked on.

His video is titled..

THIS FOUNDATION TIP CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE!

In the video he challenges all make up stereotypes by challenging his audience to try swapping the order of application of primer/moisturiser, foundation and powder.
Instead of the recommended Primer/moisturiser, Foundation then powder, he mixed things up to primer/moisturiser, Powder then Foundation. For this to work he recommends applying a loose powder, like a translucent powder over the top of tacky/wet mosturiser and or primer.

Goss believed this would reduce the amount of foundation used as well as set the foundation from the bottom up giving a more natural long lasting look.

I always moisturise my skin before I apply any sort of make up, I find the more moisitursed my skin the better the application. Once the moisturiser dries I add a layer of primer and then the layer of loose translucent powder an then a layer of foundation.

I did this a couple of days in a row, because the first time I tried it I ended up using hardly any foundation and yet had flawless coverage without a caked on look and the foundation lasted. It worked each and every time, and the glowy-ness of my face was ridiculous.

I used the images pictured below..

A mixture of the W7 Prime Ready Camera Ready Primer and the Lover Primer Brightening & Glow

The W7 primer has a silicone type feel which makes the combination blend easily over skin, while the Love Primer has a glowing glittery look which enhances the glow of the overall look.

BYS Translucent Loose Powder
This powder is in the shade light and is not translucent it has a colour to it which when applied straight after primer adds to the overall coverage.

and either

or

The items I use are low end products but if it is successful with something low grade, I can only imagine better things for high end products.

If you haven't checked out Wayne Gloss's channels on Youtube.. you need to, it is some life changing advice on there!

What order do you apply your make-up? What results do you get?

Are you willing to give this order a shot?

Thanks for reading,

Danny xx
