What I use to clean my brushes and sponges with...

Hi,
So below I've outlined what I have been using to clean my make-up brushes and sponges with. I have very sensitive skin, and as such find it very hard to find products to clean my brushes and sponges with that don't then irritate my skin.

So if anyone has any products they could recommend let me know!

ebay silicone mat

This silicone mat I bought off eBay for $2.72. It works with brushes well enough - I just found it is quite a small surface and I get a little messy when cleaning my tools. So I went looking for something with more surface area.

I found..

Kmart silicone glove

I bought this silicone glove from K-mart for $6. I'm pretty sure I saw that someone bought this for cleaning there make-up tools in a photo on Instagram. I can't believe I didn't think to check K-mart to begin with. As of yet I haven't used it but hopefully it stops the cleaning agent from getting on my hand - I have irritated skin in that area.

Coles antibacterial hand wash

This refill I bought from Coles for $2.75 after I started using the hand wash in Mildura and realised it didn't irritate the sensitive skin on my hand. So I tried cleaning my brushes with the solution and haven't noticed any irritation.

I need to buy a new small spray bottle so I can make a daily tea tree oil spray for my brushes.

Thanks for reading,
Danny xx
