Hey,
Today on the second last day of the year I would like to go through the different products I consider my favourites for the year of 2016. Items that will be included will be items that have been in previous favourites, but only items I still own and use. Month to month I change my make up, up a lot therefore this list will reflect that.
pHisohex Antibacterial face wash:
I use this product nightly after exfoliating my skin, as it helps to maintain a relatively clear complexion. This product over the last couple of months of December has become a permanent part of my skin care routine.
Mario Badescu Drying Cream:
I tested out a sample pot of this product from Mecca and was amazed at the results. My skin cleared and stayed clear, plus the smallest amount goes along way. I then went out and purchased a full size product and have been using it daily before moisturising ever since.
Mario Badescu Drying Lotion:
This product is a miricle worker, overnight blemishes are dried out and healing with just a dab. This is a product I have been using every night since purchasing, it has become a permanent part of my skin care routine.
Mario Badescu Facial Spray:
I use this product twice a day as a toner after cleansing my face. I have been using this since purchasing it in October and it has become a permanent fixture in my skin care routine.
e.l.f Complexion Brush:
I use this brush daily to apply bronzer as well as any other powders to my face. I have been using this brush for a few months and have recently purchased a second as it is such a large part of my make up routine.
Colourpop Tootsi:
I first purchased this lippie stick a couple of years back and have recently repurchased it. It is a purple grey toned nude and my absolute favourite lipstick. This is a permanent product in my make up collection that I wear most days.
Chi Chi Makeup Blending Sponge:
I haven't ever used the real beauty blender, but out of all the beauty sponges I have used the yellow Chi Chi blending sponge is my favourite. I have been using them for years and find the application of make up to be flawless. I will continue to use them and have them as part of my beauty routine.
Mamia Fragrance Free Baby Wipes:
I use these wipes twice a day after a shower to clean off any residue makeup or cleanser. I have been using these wipes for years and will continue to use them and have them as a permanent fixture in my skin care routine.
Lush Dark Angels Exfoliator:
I have used this exfoliator once before and was not in love with in, but since repurchasing I have found that I love it and the way it leaves my skin. I use it once a day at night before using the pHisohex antibacterial face wash.
Chi Chi Brow Pomade in Dark Brown:
I purchased this product quite a while ago and it has transformed the way I wear my eyebrows. The pot of product also goes a long way as a tiny bit covers a lot. It has become a permanent fixture in my beauty routine.
Scwarzkoph Leave in Conditioner:
I use this product mixed with other oils in my hair nightly after washing my hair, which leaves my hair soft and silky. I have been using this product for years and will continue to do so, it is a permanent part of my hair care routine.

Hey,
Today I want to talk about and write a small review on my e.l.f Blush Palette, which I purchased in the shade light. I purchased this palette a while back as I didn't have a lot of blushes at the time so getting four in one palette seemed the way to go. It is a brand that Kmart in Australia sell, and some of the items are quality.
The palette itself is roughly the size of my palm, each shade containing 16g of product. The palette contains five blush shades, an orange tone, a light pink, a dark pink and a slightly red pink colour. All of the shades have great pigmentation, and while powdery they blend out well and do not have much fall out.
Anyone use e.l.f products? Opinions?

Hey,
Today I wanted to go through a couple of items I have purchased off of eBay. Lately I have been buying more high end make up and less replica and other makeup. Therefore I haven't bought a lot off of eBay. But items like the highlighter below I could not resist.
Rainbow highlighter $ 5.18
Gold & Brown Necklace $1.00
Zoeva Brush & Bag set $18.79
Comment if you're interested in any links, I will endeavour to review each item as I use them.

Hey,
Today I wanted to review the e.l.f Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder in St. Lucia I purchased from Kmart. I read online that these elf compacts were dupes for Nars duos, so I figured I would give one a try. I was surprised at how the product came out on my face as I am usually very impressed with elf products.
The bronzer is highly pigmented. It is a very intense bronzer, you need to be extremely light handed when using it. When I first tested it I ended up with a muddy patch on the side of my face. After this I learnt and applied it lighter.
There is a sharp contrast in pigentation compared to the Bronzer as the Blush has little to no pigmetation at all. It is very light and subtle even when you pack the product on.
This is honestly a bit of a miss for me and I will not repurchase or purchase any of the other shades.

Hey,
Today I wanted to review the Elyse Knowles Stobing Kit by Ulta3. I purchased this palette in the month of September and have used it quite a lot since. Out of the 6 circles of product I have only really used three of them, the middle bronzer, middle highlighter and top blush. I am not a huge fan of cream products so other than swatching I haven't used the two cream products in the palette. I have nearly hit pan on the bronzer as it is the perfext colour, I really wish Ulta3 would make a compact of the formula on its own.
All six circles of product are shimmery and quite pigmented. The bronzer colours are more grey toned browns, not orange tone on the skin. This works well with my skin tone as most bronzers will go an awful orange colour on my skin, which is not attractive at all.
This Palette cost me roughly $16 and considering I have spent more on items that contain only one product, like a single bronzer compact I believe this palette is a bargain even though I only really use the bronzer. I will in future once I use up the bronzer seriously consider repurchasing if they do not make a single compact of it.

Hey,
Today I wanted to review the Ulta3 Ready to Glow Primer I purchased in Myrtleford over the Melbourne cup weekend. I have been consistently using this product for the last month and a half and I have to admit that it is not a bad primer. The bottle it came in clogged up and stopped pumping foundation through a couple of days in so I have had to open the bottle up and scoop product out each time. This little hitch has not deterred me and I am surprised that the quality isn't too bad.
The primer has a nice consistency that smoothes over the skin quite easily. It then leaves the skin with a subtle even glow. Foundation adheres quite well and smoothes out over the top with no inconsistencies.
While I am not planning on repurchasing in the near future it is a product I woud consider repurchasing in the future. I have quite enjoyed using it and how it has kept my foundation in place with a subtle glow.

Hey,
Today I wanted to review the Essence All about Matte fixing compact powder that I have been using since approximately March.
I first started using this fixing powder to blend together my bronzer and blush colours so there was less of a dramatic colour change on my cheeks. I then stopped using the product because I tried for a few months to change up the order of my foundation and powder to create a less cakey look. Since then I have used the powder in my T-zone and under my eyes to fix my foundation. This has worked to keep my T-zone oil free and my foundation staying longer.
This product does not create a cakey effect on foundation, nor does it leave a white powdery effect. It goes on translucently and sets without adding a visible layer. It is reasonably priced, under $10 and can be purchased from selected Targets and Pricelines in god old Australia. This is a good product that I will continuoulsy find uses for with my makeup.

Today I wanted to review the Body Shop... Shade Adjusting Drops in lightening. I purchased these after reading a few Facebook posts detailing that the Body Shop had a formula that did indeed lighten foundation without too much change to the coverage of the foundation. Since purchasing I have been using it to lighten different foundations I use a couple of shades to match my natural skin tone.
So far I have found that the shade adjusting drops do not change the consistency or coverage of the foundation. Depending on how much the foundation needs lightening determins how much of the formula you need to mix in.
This was an expensive buy at roughly $30 but so far has not been a purchase I have regreted. I have since purchased the Australis shade adjusting drops which I will be trying after I finish using this product.

Hey,
Today I wanted to review the Boe Beauty blush I bought for $1 from Big W. This is definitely something to look at buying if your'e on a budget and you want a blush that will perform.
The blush is a rich red colour, which translates onto the cheek quite vivedly. The pigmentation is amazing and it is very long wearing which is surprisng considering the low price. I did notice that being lighter of hand with the blush gives a more natural finish to the cheeks.
Pro's of the blush
- Highly pigmented
- Warm colour
- Long wearing
- Its a powder
- cheap - cost $1
Photo of the blush.
Swatch of the blush on my hand.
I would recommend this blush if your'e new to makeup or on a serious budget. It is well worth the $1 and adds a great natural flush to the cheeks.

Hey,
Today I wanted to talk about the Freedom Professional Makeup Fixing Spray. In the month of October I made a $170 Tam Beauty order from Tambeauty.com in order to get my hands on some Makeup Revolution products. When I made this order they had a Halloween special where if you spent over a certain amount you received a gift bag of beauty products as a bonus. I received in this bag a 50ml spray bottle of the Freedom Professional Makeup Fixing Spray. I have been hooked since that first Wednesday when I tried it out to prolong my make up as I was working both my jobs that day, a whopping 9:30am -9pm scenario with one hour between to travel from one job to the other.
The first thing I noticed about this spray is that I didn't feel as if I had just doused my face in hairspray, my makeup felt soft and smooth. If you have ever used hair spray or a cheaper setting spray in the past to set make up you would understand that stiff feeling you are left with after applying it.
The next thing that I noticed was that the setting spray actually worked. It has for the last couple of weeks of use prolonged how long my makeup has lasted on my face.
I plan on repurchasing this setting spray once I run out of the bottle I have.

Hey,
Today I wanted to go through the purchases I made in November as well as the items that arrived that I purchased in October. Below I have the dates as well as descriptions and photos. Enjoy!
November 2nd
On the 22nd of October I made a Beautylish order which included two Jeffree Star Skin Frosts. Beautylish is an official stockist of Jeffree Star Cosmetics. This order arrived on the 2nd of November, just under two weeks after I ordered it.
Onyx Ice 29 USD
King Tut 29 USD
November 10th & 11th
On October 27th I made a $170 order from Tam Beauty, this order then arrived in two separate packages on the 10th and 11th of November. I also received a free gift, a mystery bag of products as I spent over a certain amount. Below the first photo is of the items in the mystery bag, the photo below that is what I ordered from Tam Beauty.
November 19th
On November 19th Mum and I went and did some Christmas shopping at High Point. While there I stopped in at Daiso and picked up a couple of items. These items include a 7 pack of face masks, a double pack of cotton pads and a brush egg. All of these items were $2.80 each.
November 22
On the 22nd of November I went shopping at Airport West Westfield with my Aunty and baby cousins. I had a nearly $13 Priceline voucher so decided on buying a large bottle of the pHisohex Antibacterial Face Wash.
November 25
On November 25th I gave in and made another Jeffree Star order, this time from the website Princess Polly, who are an official stockist. I purchased the Skin frost Lavender Snow and the liquid lipstick in Celebrity skin. The best part about this order was because I spent over $50 I got $10 off plus free shipping, so overall I only ended up paying $61.
Jeffree Star Skin Frost in Lavender Snow $43.00 AUD
Jeffree Star Liquid Lipstick in Celebrity Skin $28.00 AUD
On November 29th my Princess Polly order arrived. One of the quickest shipping times I have witnessed.
November 26
On November 26th I caved in and made another BeautyBay order, this time so I could get the Mario Badescu Drying Cream. In order to get free shipping I had to spend over $26, so I added the Drying lotion then decided I wanted a Makeup Geek eyeshadow so I added that to my cart too.
Mario Badescu Drying Cream $18.90 AUD
Mario Badescu Drying Lotion $18.90 AUD
Makeup Geek Duochrome eyeshadow pan Steampunk $10.00 AUD
Overall this order cost me $47.80
November 27
After working on Sunday I got home and was going through Facebook and came across a video of a a person applying foundation using what looked like a flat silicone beauty sponge. This contraption did not suck up any product and blended the foundation out perfectly. Once I found the website which sold it and realised it was only $10.75 with free shipping I purchased myself a Silisponge from MollCy Cosmetics.
November 28
On November 28th I went shopping with my friend and spur of the moment decided to purchase the Chi Chi eye brush set from Myer. I have slowly been collecting the Chi Chi brushes and decided that it would be more economical to buy them in the set as roughly $15 would be saved compared to purchasing individually.
