March Empties!

Hey,

Today I wanted to write about detailing the products I finished using in the month of March. Below I have photographed all the items as well as listed and written small descriptions of my experience with the products.

Schwarzkopf Normal Balance Leave In Treatment

This product is a hair must have in my family, everyone from my hairdresser Aunty to my grandfather uses it to keep there hair lovely and soft. I have been using this leave in conditioner in my hair after washing my hair since my early teens and it is a staple in maintaining my soft conditioned hair.

Dentitex Advanced Whitening Toothpaste

This is a staple toothpaste in my household as it is sold at Aldi where we shop on a week to week basis. This helps maintain my oral health and will be a product I will continue to use.

Beauty Care Makeup Remover Pads

These are cheap bulk make up remover wipes I purchased from Kmart after I ran out of my Daiso pads. They are functional and cheap and I will continue to purchase when I need them to accompany any micellar water I am using.

Chi Chi Yellow Beauty Sponge

While I have never used a official beauty blender, the yellow Chi Chi sponge is my favourite. I have multiple sitting in my drawer so that if the one I'm using cracks and need replacing I don't have to panic. It has the perfect cone shape for under eye concealer and the flat bottom for blending out large areas of my face.

Body Shop Bath Loofer

I am an official convert when it comes to loofers for the shower. The body shop ones while expensive compared to what I am using to paying are thicker and fuller and create a much better lather for my skin. 

Pantene Colour Therapy Intensive Hair Masque

After using some not so fantastic shampoos and conditioners for my hair I picked up this product to add to my current conditioners to give my hair that little bit of a boost. This works to soften, moisturise and leave my hair healthy feeling.

Macadamia Oil Extract Hair Mask

This product was purchased as an intense hair mask for my mums bleach damaged hair. This product is versatile as it can be used as a quick hair mask or one that can be left for a decent amount of time and leaves the hair so intensely soft and healthy feeling. It is cheap and available from the Reject shop.

Pantene 3 Minute Miracle Conditioner

I use this product as an additive to my conditioners to give my hair that extra boost. It both softens and leaves my hair feeling healthy and shiny. I will repurchase and be using this product on its own as well as with my normal conditioners.

Elvive Colour Protect Intensive Conditioner

I used this product immediately after having my hair coloured and it left my hair soft and smelling absolutely edible. It locked in the colour and softened any hair that the hair colour may have damaged. This is something I will be looking to repurchase for when I have to have my hair coloured.

Coles Comfy Bots Baby Wipes

These are a go to face wipe that I purchase when I don't get the chance to go to an Aldi. They are fragrance free and do not irritate my skin or eyes. I use them after cleansing to ensure all excess product is off my face.

Lacura Body Wash with Organic Tea Tree Oil

In the last year or so I have been very careful with my body wash choices due to the eczema on my skin. I had previously only been using a QV wash religiously but once I gave this Tea Tree Oil body wash a try I was hooked. It did not irritate my skin and left my skin feeling clean.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara Sample

I loved this mascara, it made my lashes look long, thick and whispie. I did not like the fact that the mascara was quick to crumble and I always ended up with fall out smudged under my eyes. I have gotten quite a few people hooked on this as it just transforms the lashes. I since finishing the mascara moved onto a mascara with a similar wand that does not crumble and fall out.

Essano Argan Oil of Morocco Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner

I received this product as a travel pack in my free beauty hair care gift bag from Priceline. I used both while away in South Australia and was amazed at the quality as I have never before used this brand. Both products were travel sized but stretched so far, they also left my hair feeling so amazing. The shampoo I felt was quite mild and I didn't necessarily feel like it was dong anything while I was washing but once I got out my hair was clean and fresh. The conditioner was moisturising, softening and just left my hair with amazing volume and bounce which it has recently been lacking. I nearly cried having to go back to my normal products, I will be repurchasing.

Five Stars Toothpaste Cool Mint

I love the taste of this toothpaste but I am not enjoying how it is leaving my teeth over time. I do not believe it is leaving them as clean as they possibly good be. I will be investing in a better quality toothpaste.

Pantene Shampoo Daily Moisture Renewal

 I am a long time lover of Pantene, it does absolute wonders for my hair. However after trying the Essano brand travel pack I am less than thrilled with how my hair is left. It is left limp and lifeless and even a little frizzy in comparison. I will finish using all of my Pantene products but will not jump into repurchasing until I give Essano a good go.

Protane Coconut Water 

This was an impulse buy from Aldi but I enjoyed spraying my clean hair with it before adding a leave in conditioner. I feel like it added a longer lasting level of moisture to my hair. However I do believe it may have added to my hairs friziness. I will not be repurchasing.

Benefit they're Real Mascara Replica

This was a bargain buy from eBay and it really did do amazing things for my eye lashes. The formula however was quite stringy which was annoying and sometimes messy. It worked to extend lashes to quite a large degree but it isn't something that I need to use anymore with the new Stila mascara I purchased.

XXO Love Brow

This was a functional little cheap alternative to a clear brow gel. I didn't really get much use out of it due to pure laziness and will not be repurchasing.

Toothbrush

I paid a whole 50 cents for this toothbrush and it was awesome. It had a large brush head which essentially made it easy and quicker to brush my teeth as it covered more ground. I will be heading back to where I purchased this for a heap more.

Mario Badescu Healing Soothing Mask Sample

This mask sample I feel went off quite quickly. I tried it out on my holiday to South Australia which wasn't too long after getting the sample and it was clumpy like curdled milk and had a seriously funky smell. I will not be purchasing this product.

Mario Badescu Whitening Mask Sample

This mask wasn't particularly special, it didn't do a hell of a lot for my complexion. There may have been a slight difference in a more even skin tone. I will not be purchasing this product.

Josie Maran Whipped Mud Mask Sample x2

I really do like this mask, I just much prefer the orange coloured version, I feel like that did great brightening things for my complexion. I will not be purchasing this mask as of yet.

Mario Badescu Seaweed Night Cream Sample

This was a nice light moisturiser that I used at night. I don't feel like it did anything especially special for my skin. I have since purchased a higher end moisturiser and will not be purchasing this one.
