Hey,
Today I wanted to explore both the palette I have used for the last week as well as introduce the palette I will be using this upcoming week. Last weeks palette was the Jeffree Star Cosmetics palette, which I used each day last week.
I have to admit straight away that while I am in love with the shade Violence for and under eye smokey look this has been my least favourite palette to use for a week in this small challenge I have set myself.
The reason this palette was my least favourite is it is not a palette that I can use normally on its own, not enough varying shades of colours. I use a lot of natural colours as well as browns, reds and oranges. This palette has a lot of statement colours which are great for adding to a look once another palette is used. This is previously how I was using this palette and after the previous week it will continue to be used in this way.
I ended up using the shade Courtney the most, it is a light caramel flesh tone colour. This worked as a colour to set eye primer as well as a crease and transition colour as well as a lid colour while mostly utilizing colours such as confession, vanity and china white.
The fourth palette I have chosen for the week ahead is the Makeup Geek and Manny MUA Collaboration eye shadow palette. I am really looking forward to using this palette every day for a week as it has a lot of warm tones that I like to work with as well as a shimmery red/ green shade that makes me look like a mermaid when worn.

Beauty Loop Level 2 Box
Hey,
Today I wanted to write a short post detailing the Beauty Loop box that I picked up on the 26th of April at Werribee Mecca. I received the email on the Wednesday morning while at my grandmothers waiting for my Aunty to get her stuff together to go shopping. After seeing this our first stop was Mecca to collect my beauty loop box and book in a couple more make up applications.
Items I received in this box;
Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer
NARS Velvet Lip Glide in Le Palace
NUFACE Prep-n-glow
Kate Somerville Wrinkle Warrior
I was really excited about this beauty loop box as I received both a deluxe Smashbox primer sample as well as a deluxe Nars lipstick sample. I look forward to trying each of these samples and seeing what I do and don't love.

Palette a week 3!
Hey,
Today I wanted to both explore the palette I used last week as well as introduce this weeks palette of choice. Last week's palette was the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Androgyny Palette, which I used every day for that week.
Overall I ended up using six of the the shades the most. These shades included; safe word, charm, deja vu, dominatrix, andrgyny and fetish. They were the most complimentary and easy to use together shades. Having brown to hazel eyes I tend to steer clear of greens and blue but I am sure I will get the chance to experiment with shades like that from the palette in the future.
My favourite combination of colours which when I look back on the week I did two or three times was using a crease colour of safe word and a lid colour of Androgyny. This was followed closely by using safe word to set my eye shadow primer with dominatrix as a crease colour and fetish and deja vu as a lid colour.
Overal the combinations of colours in this palette work well together and I thoroughly enjoyed using it for the week that I did.
The third palette that I have chosen for the week ahead is the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Beauty Killer palette. This is a palette I have had since late last year and am really looking forward to using it and see what eye shadow looks I can come up with.

iHerb Order!
Hey,
Today I wanted to write a small post about a haul I received today. I made the order from the iHerb website after noticing that there real techniques products are really cheap, and that they have the Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer in stock. At the time that I ordered in I was really interested in getting my hands on the Real Techniques Miracle Diamond Sponge, simply so I can say that I have it.
I made an order on the website on the 11th of April and the box arrived at my doorstep on the 21st of April. It was a quick and painless process and a website I would highly recommend to those interested in purchasing anything they have to offer.
I ended up purchasing 5 items in total which included;
Real Techniques 2 pack Miracle Complexion Sponges $12.58 (Priceline price $28.99)
E.L.F Cosmetics Ultimate Blending Brush $8.07 (Kmart price $13.00)
Real Techniques Miracle Sculpting Sponge $5.31 (Real Techniques website $16.99)

Real Techniques Miracle Diamond Sponge $11.43 (Real Techniques website $24.99)
Shipping $3.20
Total cost $59.29
I look forward to using each of these items as well as reviewing them. I do believe I found myself a bargain using this website, get on it peoples!

Stila HUGE Extreme Lash Mascara
Hey,
Today I wanted to write a small review on the Stila Huge Extreme Lash Mascara I purchased from Mecca, Rundle Mall in Adelaide. I purchased this mascara after being recommended to try it after finding fault with the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara.
I received a sample sized version of the Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara as part of one of my Too Faced Christmas palettes. I absolutely loved what the mascara does for my lashes, lengthens and adds volume and curls. I just hate that it flakes off and ends up under my eyes, as well as dries up quickly causing clumpiness. So I was essentially looking for a mascara after my tube had mostly dried up that had a similar formula but without all the negatives.
This has led me to purchasing and using the Stila HUGE Extreme Lash Mascara. I have been using this product for a couple of weeks now and have to admit it is a much better improvement, not having to deal with flaking or clumps in my mascara. The wand is the exact same as the Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara, the formula is also thinner but performs the same as in that it adds volume, adds length as well as curls my lashes. Which is everything I want in a mascara.
Packing states;
This super volumizing, long-wearing mascara drenches every lash in intense triple-black pigments and builds unstoppable colour for the boldest, blackest fake-lash look ever! A customized blend of soft malleable waxes keeps lashes feeling flexible and soft, so you can apply mutiple coats without any smudging, clumping or feeling crunchy.
The unique wand has crimped bristles that are dense, flexible, and multi-length bristles to hug, catch and coat each and every lash, for instantly HUGE lashes.
Usage: Begin at the base of you lashes and sweep the wand outward and upward, build your coats for added drama.

Tumeric Face Mask!
Hey,
Today I wanted to write about a face mask I recently tried which I got the inspiration to do from Pinterest. Not only can this article be found on Pinterest but it can be found at Bellatory.com. This article has a few different combinations of face masks that include the Tumeric spice but one in particular stood out for me.
Below I have screen shots of the different information pertaining to the mask that I chose to try out;
Information about each of the ingredients (above)
Photo wearing the mask (above)
The first time making this mask, apart from looking at the ingredients I just skipped over the recipe and chucked all the ingredients in a bowl. Even after profuse whisking the ingredients didn't quite thicken or do the job. I then went back and started again, whisking the egg white separately and then adding the other ingredients. There was an immediate difference, the end result was thicker.
Applying this to my face was different to first expected. Being that it was so thin I expected the mixture to slide straight off my face. In reality it stuck quite well and barely dripped off. I will definitely be attempting this again to see if it leaves my skin any different.

Palette a Week 2!
Hey,
Today I wanted to both explore the palette I used every day for the last week as well as introduce the next palette. Last weeks palette was the Sportsgirl Bronze Eyeshadow palette which I have used every day for the last week.
Overall I used the same shade all week long to set my eye primer, which was the shade Vanilla. Vanilla is a white shadow which is one of four matte shadows.
After that I tended to use the same combination of shades for work, while another combination for my days off. The shades I used mostly for work included using Caramel and Pecan over the top of Vanilla. Caramel is a more ochre based brown shadow, while Pecan is a more grey toned brown shadow. I used both of these shadows interchangeably, one for the crease and the other for the lid alternatively.
My favourite look on my days away from work included intertwining the shade Pretzel and the shade Choc alongside Pecan, Caramel and Vanilla. Pretzel is a deep orange that can be quite bright and or deep depending on the amount applied. Choc is a shimmer shade that is both a brown as well as a black all at once. I prefer to use the shade Pretzel as a crease shade and Choc as a lid or middle of the lid shade.
The second palette I have chosen for the week ahead is the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Androgyny palette. A palette I received in the mail in late March, I really look forward to using this for a whole week and seeing what looks I can create.

What I have done lately to fix my skin...
Hey,
Today I wanted to write a short post detailing how I have changed my skin care routine to fix my skin issues. I have recently made some expensive changes to my skin care routine in the hopes that I would get some positive results and so far so good so I figured I would share them.
It has been a gradual process, one in which I started in the middle of March in South Australia. A week or so before purchasing the first two items I did a little internet searching about the Kiehl's brand after seeing a product on one of the buy swap and sell sites I frequent. I took a chance and while in Adelaide at the Rundle Mall, purchased both the Kiehl's Blue Herbal Gel Cleanser and Blue Herbal Moisturizer.
I started using both these products straight away and noticed my skin detox (got worse) and then rapidly improve. Both of these products focus on treating acne. This included improvements of any acne/ blemishes, redness and oilyness. Since then my skin has been evening out and continuously looking better and better.
Early in April I visited Highpoint Shopping Centre and purchased the Kiehl's Skin Brightening exfoliator and Calendula Herbal- Extract Toner to add to my routine. The exfoliator, not only exfoliates the skin but also improves complexion and the Calendula Toner soothes and improves problem areas. Since using these two new products my complexion is much more even. Less redness and more porcelain with rosy cheeks.
This change in skin care has been the best change I have ever made for my skin, it is looking better than it has in years.

Work Make-Up
Hey,
Today I wanted to write a really quick post about my make-up routine for work. I work in retail, in a large warehouse so there isn't a hell of a lot of reason to be wearing a full glamorous face of make up. I had previously been testing a lot of different foundations and other looks but found they were not lasting through hot weather or my perspiration. I have in the last month or so worked out a simple routine that is basic but enough that I don't look like I have just rolled out of bed.
I like to keep it really simple especially in terms of eye looks, mostly neutrals - browns, golds and shades of beige, so I frequently change which palette I use.Using a mineral powder foundation is something new in my make-up routine. I have only once before tried out a mineral powder but it came out far too orange. Since changing over to the Nude by Nature brand I have found something that compliments my complexion, is light enough for day to day wear and enough that I look like I have put some effort in.
Below I have listed the items I use on a day to day basis for work;
Brows: Chi Chi Brow Pomade in Dark brown
Primer: Nude by Nature Airbrush Mineral Primer
Concealer: Nude by Nature Liquid Mineral Concealer in Light
Foundation: Nude by Nature Mineral Cover in Light/Medium
Eye Primer: Inglot Eye Shadow Keeper
Eyeshadow: Sportsgirl Bronze Eyeshadow Palette
Mascara: Stila Huge Lashes Mascara

Palette a Week!
Hey,
Today I wanted to write about a make-up decision I have recently made. The only issue with owning as much make-up as I do is that I don't get the chance to use everything. Therefore for the foreseeable future I plan on using a different eye shadow palette each week untill have had the chance to use each one that I own.
The first palette I have chosen to use for a solid week is the Sportsgirl Bronze Eyeshadow Palette. I purchased this palette on my last day of holiday in March, in Warnambool. I have had the chance to use this palette a couple of times but with a week of use I should get a fair idea of the different looks I will be able to do with this palette.

MUD Make- Up Blender
Hey,
Today I wanted to write a quick review on a supermarket bough make-up blender. I purchased this product while I was on a holiday in South Australia, from Woolworths of all places. It is from the brand MUD and retails for $8.00.
Halfway through my trip in South Australia I had to retire the yellow Chi Chi blending sponge I had been using, as it was cracking and splitting. I purchased this Mud brand blender on a whim hoping that it would be quality for a small price. When I first opened the box, I noticed straight away that it was incredibly soft and smushy. Once I added water it was even softer and works to blend out both concealer and foundation effortlessly. I have since been so impressed with the blender that I am contemplating purchasing a couple as back ups.
While the packaging is just plastic there is a lot of information printed on it, most of which is quite useful for newbies to makke-up blenders.
The packaging states;
Provides streak- free application of foundation, powder, primer and cream blush.
Make-up Artist Tip
For best results dampen blender with water and apply foundation in a dabbing motion. Use the pointed tip for under eyes, around the nos and along the lips. Do not wet blender if applying powder products.
Care Instructions
Wash regularly in warm, soapy water, gently massaging the blender as you go to remove make-up residue. Rinse thoroughly, squeezing out excess water and allow to air dry.

March Favourites!
Hey,
Today I wanted to write about the products I loved using in the month of March.
Kiehl's Blue Herbal Gel Cleanser
Every time I use this product it feels as if I have put listerine on my face, I get a cool tingy sensation which gives a fresh clean effect to my skin. I purchased this as a last resort to attempt to clear up my constantly blemished skin, I am happy to say that it has improved my complexion 110%. I will continue to keep this in my routine as it not only has cleared my skin, it is maintaining its cleared look.
Kiehl's Blue Herbal Moisturiser
This moisturiser leaves my skin feeling matte and oil-free all day long even without make-up over the top. It works to combat blemishes and evens out my skin tone all day and all night without irritating my skin. I will continue to use this in my routine and hope that it will continue to improve my skin.
The Body Shop Elderflower unpurfumed Eye Gel
This gel stays cool even when not kept in the fridge, therefore is soothing when applied to the under eye area. It is moisturising and leaves my under eye are feeling more plump and less noticeable.
Mamia Fragrance free Baby Wipes
I use these every day after cleansing my face to ensure that all product is gone from my skin. These are a staple in my routine and one of only a couple of wipes that I do not receive any reaction from.
Inglot Eye Shadow Keeper
This eye shadow primer has a thick consistency that provides a solid base for all my eye shadow looks. I find most eye primers bunch/ clump together on my eyes and don't create a flawless base. This smooths out easily and makes applying eye shadow effortless.
MAC Pro Longwear Concealer NW20
This concealer has full coverage to cover the darkest of under eye bags or reddest of blemishes. The formulation blends out seamlessly and works with not only MAC liquid foundations but other mineral powder foundations.
Chi Chi Brow Pomade in Dark Brown
This is my holy grail brow product. It is cheap but so effective and once dry does not budge or smudge. It is versatile and can be utilised to create natural or a fuller, filled in look.
Nude By Nature Natural Mineral Cover in Light/Medium
This is my go to foundation for a quick and natural look at work. The formula is easy to apply and versatile, it can be lightly dusted or build up to a full coverage application. This promotes more healthy skin as it allows my skin to breathe and decreases block pores and blemishes.
Nude by Nature Mineral Powder Brush
This brush is one of my best buys from the Nude by Nature brand. The bristles are soft but densly packed and blend out loose and pressed powder just as well. I use this brush to apply my Mineral Cover foundation as well as my pressed powders.
Stila HUGE Extreme Lash Mascara
I purchased this mascara after being recommended by ladies at Mecca as an alternative to the Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara. I found it flaky and quick drying which the Stila mascara in comparison is not. It gives me length and volume without the horrible flaking I was previously experiencing.
Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in Celebrity Skin
JS liquid lipsticks are the only liquid lipsticks I own that do not dry out my lips. I am left with satiny feeling lips with colour that lasts hours, unfortunately not through eating food as I am a grub and frequently wipe my mouth. This shade works with every single make up look and is my favourite.
