Change of Shampoo and Conditioner!

Hey,

Today I wanted to talk about the new set of shampoo and conditioner that I have been using since June. It is the John Frida Frizz Ease Repairing Shampoo and Conditioner. I'm used to using cheaper shampoos and conditioners and am amazed at how little shampoo is needed to created a good lather.

I was also in the bad habit of washing my hair daily but I have no need when using this shampoo and conditioner, I can wash my hair every second day and not have greesy oily feeling hair in between washes.

For days after washing your hair, it smells like you have left the hair salon. That lovely freshly blow dried and cut hair.

If you haven't gotten your hands on this shampoo and conditioner I would suggest trying it out.

Review- Maybelline Super Stay 24H Concealer

Maybelline Super Stay 24H Concealer (Light/Beige Clair 2)








Hey, 

So today I wanted to review Maybellines Super Stay 24H Concealer.
I bought this earlier in the year and have used it a handful of times. I haven't had a lot of luck with this as an under eye concealer. I have noticed that no matter how little or much I sleep I still have some intense dark blue under eye bags.

It has a very quick drying formula, so applying to one area, blending, then setting it is the best bet. Otherwise the formula will dry in place. When I first used it I had other areas drying before I could blend the formula out. This was annoying and frustrating but once I started applying to one area at a time I noticed a huge difference. This in no way has made this my holy grail product. No matter what powder, whether loose or pressed or how quickly I apply and blend the concealer, my under eye area creases. 

Overall thehe formula can also be quite thick and cakey. It drys very quickly, so blending out as soon as applied has to happen or it becomes clumpy.

Too be honest this is not the concealer for me, I will not repurchase and will be lucky if I finish it and not just sell or give it away.

Review - Rimmel London Lasting Finish Primer

Rimmel London Lasting Finish Primer




Hey,

So I purchased my first tube of the Rimmel Lasting Finish Primer while I was in Mildura on Holidays in March. Since then I have used the tube and bought myself a back up, which was during the Chemist Warehouse half price cosmetics sale a couple of months ago.

At first I disliked the the primer. It has a thick white consistency that makes it seem like you are trying to spread PVA across your face. It also stays quite tacky and sticky.

Since alternating with other primers I have purchased in the last couple of months I have realised how amazing this primer really is. The thick consistency creates a perfect barrier between your skin and make up, the stickiness is the perfect texture to adhere any foundation and or powder being used. It is long lasting, using this primer with ensure you make up stays all day.

This primer, until I find something better is going to be repurchased time and time again!

If you haven't given it a go.. go now and purchase it. You will not regret it.

Review - W7 Silky Blush (Diamond Pink)

Hey,

Today I wanted to do a review for the W7 Silky Blush in Diamond Pink that I bought a couple of months ago. I really enjoy using all the products I have from the W7 line, and I have a lot. This is because I always find them to be quality, especially for the extra cheap price tag. 

I use it often, for a lot of different looks, but not as a blush. As a blush it is ineffective, unless you are looking for a translucent shimmer effect. As the blush is so light and shimmery I get more use out of it as a highlighter. It works so well as a highlighter that one of my friends went out and purchased one for the same purpose.

Month of June Empties!

So today I wanted to go through all the items I finished during the month of June.
This is something that I want to start blogging about. That way I can start tracking what I use, how much and how quickly.


Below I have a photo of all the products I used and below that I have individually photographed all the products I used.

Mamia Baby Wipes

I have been using these to wipe my face after I shower to remove any excess make up or face wash on my face for as long as I can remember. They are like a stand in face wipe/ make up wipe for me that I buy from Aldi. I find I have a lot of trouble finding make up wipes that do not irritate my skin. As they are baby wipes they have no fragrance or anything else in them that are harmful for my skin.

Will definitely repurchase!

Smartskin Moisturizing facial cleansing wipes x 2

I have used up two packets of these wipes this month, which I bought on sale for $2 for both packets. I found they were very soapy, they didn't seem to irritate my skin or even my eyes. They weren't anything overly memorable so will continue to use the baby wipes from Aldi.

Will most likely not repurchase!

Byphasse Face wash

This face wash wasn't too bad at all but it also didn't make a huge difference to my face. The formula is very thick and has a gel like consistency. It did not irritate or cause any major break outs or cause other issues like dryness.

Will not be repurchasing!

Natures Organics Face wash

This was not a bad face wash, but not necessarily a good face wash. It didn't irritate my skin, or cause any problems with my skin. It however didn't feel like it was doing anything amazing that would cause me to repurchase.

Will not be repurchasing!

Biore Deep Pore Charcoal CleanserI really enjoyed using this face wash, it was cooling on the face with a slight tingle.I also felt like it worked to even out my skin tone and work at clearing and preventing breakouts.Will not be repurchasing, but will reconsider in the future.

Protan Keratin Heat Protection Spray This is another product that I purchased from Aldi. It is one of my favourite heat spraysto use before I blow dry or straighten my hair.Will repurchase! 

Biore Triple Action TonerI bought this toner because I was using the Charcoal cleanser from Biore and figured they would go well together. This was a very strong toner, which was almost too much to use daily. In the end I ended up just using it for spots where I have broken out. I've been using a byphasse toner which once I'm finished I will be going back to the witch hazel toner I was originally using. Will not be repurchasing.

Olay Skin Smoothing Cream ScrubI really enjoyed using this product, it is not overly harsh on the face. The exfoliating pieces of the formula are big enough to get the grit out of the pores but small enough for it not to hurt or damage the skin. This is an exfoliator that in the future that I would consider buying again, but for the time being I will be using the Arbonne exfoliator.
Will not be repurchasing.

Olay Cream Cleanser blemish prone/ oily skinThis was a good cleanser, I really enjoyed using it on my face. It is a cream cleanser so it was very soft and soothing on the skin. There was no irritation or problems with my skin while using this. If I wasn't using a cleanser from Arbonne I would have continued using this cleanser.Will not be repurchasing!

Rimmel Lasting Finish PrimerThis primer is amazing, I recommended it to my friend and we are both hooked. The primer has a very thick, white and sticky consistency. It also makes foundation and other products layered over the top last all day. 
Have already repurchased and will continue to repurchase.

W7 Photo shoot budge proof foundation
This is a cheap foundation I bought from Chemist warehouse, and it is flawless on my skin. It applies easily and lasts all day.

Have already repurchased, will continue to repurchase.
